What was the highlight of Strandhotel Westduin
Good for a short stay.
Location is ideal and peaceful, and the staff friendly. The room itself was good, and the beds comfortable.
The bathroom however is extremely small and two people cannot be in the bathroom at the same time, this would stop us from going to the facility for longer than two nights for sure. I always look forward to the breakfast when staying over, but to be honest I was a bit disappointed. The scrambled eggs were under cooked, and I would rather have bacon strips then the small bits which are not really nice and crispy. On the Sunday the fruit really was not fresh like it was on the Saturday morning. The plates and bowls were really small and to actually get a normal portion you had to go back a few times which was annoying.

Wonderful
Great location for access to the dune paths, the beach and seaside cafés/bars. Very good food in restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Nice to have a quality coffee machine in the room as well. Overall, really enjoyed the stay here.
The room smelt a bit 'woody' when you first walked in due to the design - using quite a lot of wood panels - although this wasn't noticeable after a while. Would prefer the bathroom to be one room, rather than the separate toilet/shower and wash basin room arrangement.
